Day 5 of the Brent Key/Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic 7-on-7 is shaping up to be one of the best days of the entire event, putting 16 teams on the field, including rising programs, state championship contenders, and a defending state champion. Expect elite talent and a few under-the-radar names to make a statement.
Jamarcus Harrison, East Hall, QB
East Hall quarterback Jamarcus Harrison is one of the most underrated players in Georgia. Standing at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Harrison is a jumbo-sized QB and the best player to come out of East Hall in quite some time. He currently holds 13 Division I offers, including FBS offers from Georgia State, USF, Kennesaw State, and the military academies. He’s a fun, exciting player who should put on a show Wednesday.
Brooks Goodman, Blessed Trinity, QB
Senior Brooks Goodman, a Cincinnati commit, enters his final high school season under more pressure than ever. With Blessed Trinity back in championship-contending form for the first time in a few years, the Titans will need Goodman to be elite. He has all the intangibles to be a high-level quarterback, but will need to take the next step. Wednesday offers one of his first big chances to prove that growth.
George Lamons, Brooks County, TE
George Lamons, a Class of 2027 tight end, is the next in Georgia’s long line of elite talents at the position. He helped Brooks County to a state runner-up finish last season and looks to grow even more as a junior. Lamons committed to Texas A&M in April, becoming another early Aggie pledge from Georgia. While he plays tight end, he lined up mostly out wide last year, blending receiver skills with tight end physicality.
Adryan Cole, Pace Academy, S
Adryan Cole is one of the top safeties in the Class of 2027. At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, he brings a more traditional safety build. He’s a rangy defender with the length and speed to play multiple roles, whether deep in coverage or in the box. In 7-on-7, he’ll be critical in keeping short passes from becoming big plays.
Kamarui Dorsey, Hampton, LB
Ranked No. 1 at his position by On3, Kamarui Dorsey is one of the most athletic safeties to come through Georgia in years. He joins the likes of Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks, Caleb Downs, and KJ Bolden as elite safety prospects. Dorsey combines cornerback-level speed with the instincts of a true safety, making him a versatile weapon across the secondary.
Kei’Maurii Miles, Carver-Columbus, WR
Kei’Maurii Miles, a North Carolina commit, is one of the most exciting wide receivers participating Wednesday. The 6-foot-1 senior is a long, athletic receiver capable of playing X, slot, or Z. His crisp route running paired with top-tier speed makes him a matchup nightmare in a 7-on-7 setting.
Tristen Givens, Carver-Columbus, EDGE
Tristen Givens, an outside linebacker for Carver-Columbus, is one of the most athletic edge rushers in the country. A consensus top-150 national prospect and a 5-star per 247Sports, Givens combines length, power, and elite burst. He’s even lined up at tight end for the Tigers. He’ll be a major part of Carver’s title hopes—and that journey starts on Wednesday.
Andrew Cochran, Blessed Trinity, WR
Andrew Cochran is pure speed. At 6-foot, 165 pounds, he’s one of the fastest players in the state, having recorded a laser-timed 4.32 40-yard dash. Though still raw and only entering his sophomore season, he’s going to be a serious problem in 7-on-7 play and nearly impossible to cover in space.
Hagan Slimp, Crisp County, QB
Hagan Slimp, a third-year starter at Crisp County, has a chance to take a leap under new head coach Justin Newman. Slimp has already thrown for nearly 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns in his career. He has the arm talent and frame to make a real impact this year, and the new system could be what he needs to break out.
Jayden Whiteside, Marietta, QB
Jayden Whiteside, a 2027 QB, is looking to lead Marietta to a bounce-back season after its worst finish since 2010. Whiteside threw for 1,600 yards and 10 touchdowns as a freshman. With new head coach Cameron Duke at the helm, he’s expected to take another step forward and become a consistent leader under center.
