ON3 Releases Top 100 2027 Basketball Player Rankings With 9 Georgia Players Making The Cut

On3 released its top 100 rankings with the conclusion of high school basketball coming to an end. Georgia has the second-highest in the country according to the new rating with nine players making the cut.

Texas is tied with Georgia and Florida has the most with 10. The highest-ranked player currently in the state playing in the GHSA is Norcross Nasir Anderson. On3 ranks him as a four-star prospect, the No. 2 player in Georgia, No. 8 PG, and No. 29 nationally. Anderson had a great postseason for Norcross and was pivotal in pulling off a huge Sweet 16 win over title contender McEachern. Anderson was featured in the Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Basketball Classic back in December and put on a show winning Player of the Game in a victory over Pinson Valley at the time.

Next up is Wheeler’s Kevin Savage who will play for a state championship this weekend for the Wildcats. Savage has been on another level since returning from injury. He was instrumental in the big win over Grayson scoring 14 points, dishing out four assists, and two steals. Savage is a versatile point guard who can create his own shot off the bounce and also create for others. He plays for a storied power at Wheeler that is known for producing high-end talent. He ranks No. 56 nationally.

Woodward Academy’s Jarvis Hayes Jr is another player who made the list. It really is no surprise, especially with his performances in this postseason. Just go back to the second round where he hit a game-winner to lift the War Eagles over Milton. In the game he finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. His dad Jarvis Hayes is a seven-year veteran of the NBA and 12 year professional. You can see where he gets it from and why he is such an elite player so early in his career.

Tri-Cities Tre Keith is a popular name in the basketball world and has continued to live up to the hype. Keith is averaging 17.9 points per game. He also has improved his averages in assists from 2.4 to 4.2 and rebounding from 3.7 to 4.0. Keith recently poured in 34 points, five rebounds, five steals, and four assists in a victory over Habersham Central. Keith has been making his name known during the AAU circuit with his microwave ability, scoring whenever he touches the ball.

Milton Solomon Britton has a lot of potential to be a great prospect. He will be one of the key guys returning next season for the Milton Eagles. When you watch his game, he can evolve into an elite defender with his 6’8 and 215-pound frame. He moves well for his size and can also stretch out to guard the perimeter. Offensively, he is good at finishing and in the end a good lob threat. With Daniel Ogunyemi graduating, he will be the next big man in line for the Eagles moving forward.

East Hall’s Braydon Langston led his team to a 23-6 record this past season and led his team to the second round of the postseason. He was named to the Region 8-3A team. I am still fairly new to his name, but he has been making his name during the spring and summer circuits. When you roll the tape, you see a 6’6 wing who is an aggressive scorer and one that can defend at a high level on defense. He has a big-bodied frame and is tough to drive past when he is in front of you. He still has a lot of potential to unlock and could see more college interest as time goes on.

North Oconee Justin Wise already has an Auburn offer and made his name in the peach state after helping the Titans win its first-ever state championship as a freshman. He has already surpassed 1,000 career points. He was instrumental in helping carry the scoring load especially with several of the Titan players not playing until December after North Oconee won a state championship. Wise has already garnered some college interest with several programs being interested in his play.

Hillgrove’s Asa Montgomery was a first-team all-region selection for Region 3-6A. The elite wing player has a knack for getting to the rim and finishing through contract. He is probably one of the most elite finishers here in the state of Georgia in this class. On defense, he does a great job of using his body and lateral quickness to stay in front of you and force turnovers and deflections.
