Darnell Kelly inks another NIL deal and this time with The Goal Line Family. The deal was announced over the weekend. The Goal Line Family represents athletes on all three levels including high school, college, and NFL. On the high school level, they represent athletes in the state of Georgia like four-star Lasiah Jackon (Lee County) and four-star Joshua Sam-Epelle (Douglas County). In college, they represent notable athletes like Penn State’s Jalen Kimber, Illinois Seth Coleman, Georgia Tech’s Weston Franklin, Florida’s Joey Slackaman and so many more.
NIL was passed back in October 2023 here in the peach state by the GHSA allowing high school athletes to engage in NIL activities including football. Since the NIL passing was announced, Kelly has inked deals with Listen Alphabets and Young Kings NIL card collection. Listen Alphabets is mental training for athletes and high achievers that keeps athletes locked in and mentally sharp. Young Kings specializes in one-of-a-kind cards that are relevant to the athlete that they can keep. Kelly has continued to show the ability to be a marketable athlete even early on in his career. His 11K followers on Instagram he uses to promote his talent, personality, and who he is off the field. Kelly’s stock continues to rise and it won’t be long before his ends up with a landmark deal.
On the gridiron, Kelly is already making headway on the 7 on 7 circuit with Huncho Elite, a premier program here in Georgia. He threw a game-winning touchdown this past weekend to lead Huncho Elite to a victory. Kelly is coming off 2,521 passing yards and 28 touchdowns in the air this past season for Peachtree Ridge. He had one of his best games against Mountain View High School when he went 27-33 for 316 passing yards and five touchdowns. Kelly also showcased his ability to run this season and keep plays alive with his legs rushing for 463 yards and five touchdowns. Kelly led his team to the second round of the playoffs in 2024.
Despite being an underrated prospect (only rated on Rivals as a three-star), he holds more than 20 offers and will make a committment decision in July. Some of his major offers include Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Coastal Carolina, and FAMU.

It will be interesting to see where the star quarterback lands at the next level, but he has already proven he can be elite at the prep level and will be a top player in college.
