
In Class 6A, No. 1 North Forsyth picked up wins over Forsyth Central and South Forsyth and remained undefeated with one final game on Tuesday night against Denmark. North Paulding, Grayson, Campbell, and Newton round out the top five. No. 5 Newton defeated No. 6 Archer 59-51 in a top-10 matchup this past week. Archer, Carrollton, Lowndes, Cherokee, and Buford round out the top 10.
In Class 5A, No. 1 River Ridge swept the season series against No. 10 Pope after a 59-33 victory. The Lady Knights also defeated Riverwood this week 73-12. No. 2 Hughes went 3-0 picking up wins over Banneker, McIntosh, and No. 5 Morrow. Woodward Academy, Milton, and Morrow round out the top five. Tri-Cities, Bradwell Institute, Creekview, Coffee, and Pope round out the top 10.
In Class 4A, No. 1 Creekside picked up wins over Pace Academy and Drew. The Lady Seminoles will finish the regular season against Mays. Marist, Warner Robins, Kell, and North Oconee round out the top five. Jones County, Midtown, Jackson-Atlanta, Ware County, and Stockbridge round out the top 10. No. 7 Midtown defeated No. 8 Jackson-Atlanta 59-50 in a marquee matchup earlier this week. Ware County finishes the regular season on a four-game winning streak.
In Class 3A, No. 1 Pickens picked up a win over Greater Atlanta Christian and a top 10 win over White County. Jefferson, Luella, Fayette County, and Oconee County round out the top five. No. 3 Jefferson swept the season series over No. 5 Oconee County. No. 4 Fayette County picked up a quality win over Sandy Creek. Baldwin, White County, Sandy Creek, Cherokee Bluff, and Heritage-Ringgold round out the top 10. After losing three consecutive games, No. 6 Baldwin rebounded quickly going 3-0 and moving up a spot. Dawson County falls out of the poll after two consecutive losses to Greater Atlanta Christian and Chestatee. Heritage-Ringgold makes its debut in the poll.
In Class 2A, No. 1 Thomson defeated Burke County and Glenn Hill this past week. Thomson is currently on a 12-game-winning streak and hasn’t lost since December 13th against private school powerhouse Hebron Christian. No. 2 Josey picked up a notable win over No. 4 Butler this past week. No. 1 Thomson and No. 2 Josey will match up again on Tuesday in a must-see contest. Murray County, Butler, and Sonoraville round out the top five. Hardaway, Columbia, Tattnall County, Coahulla Creek, and Sumter County round out the top 10.
In Class A Div. I, No. 1 Elbert County defeated Oglethorpe County 69-42 this past week. Fannin County, Central-Macon, Model, and Lamar County round out the top five. East Laurens, Heard County, Banks County, Temple, Washington County. Round out the top 10. No. 6 East Laurens picked up a win over No. 10 Washington County who is currently on a three-game losing streak. No. 7 Heard County starting to prove they are a contender after a double-digit victory over No. 9 Temple. Washington County is on the verge of falling out of the poll after a chaotic week.
In Class A Div. II, No. 1 Taylor County defeated Central 75-15 this past week. Bryan County, Wilcox County, Telfair County, and Macon County round out the top five. Macon County makes its debut in the top five and Early County falls out after suffering a two-game losing streak. Seminole County, Brooks County, Screven County, Randolph-Clay, and Early County round out the top 10.
In Class A-3A Private, No. 1 Hebron Christian picked up wins over Hart County and Stephens County this past week. St. Francis, Mount Paran, Southwest Atlanta Christian, and Holy Innocents round out the top five. Galloway, Athens Academy, Lovett, Providence Christian, and Prince Avenue Christian round out the poll. Whitefield Academy and Greenforest slip out of the poll. Greenforest is on a current four-game losing streak.
