Tristian Givens is one of the top players in Georgia in the 2026 class. Ranked as high as a 5-star recruit, Givens is still looking for a new home.
Last season with Carver-Columbus, Givens helped lead them to a 2A state championship and now has narrowed his college list to Washington, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

Washington is a little different, being so far away from Georgia. They also were not a part of Givens’ original top four a few months ago. So that raises the obvious question, why?
“It was cool, it was different, going to the west coast. The coaches always stayed in contact with me (even when he did not include them in his top four).”

Tennessee has been a school that Givens has seemed to enjoy for a while. The SEC power has hosted him multiple times and made his original top four.
He visited Tennessee last weekend and spoke highly of his experience.
“‘(It was nice) getting to be around the people, be around the coaches, the players too.”
Another top SEC team in his top three is Texas A&M. The Aggies were also a part of his top four.
“(I like) The coaches, my position coach, coach Spence, he is a really nice guy, I really mess with him.”
Givens also added some of his favorite coaches of the three schools.
“I really like Coach Elko (A&M), Coach Heupal (Tennessee), Coach Fisch (Washington), and Coach Van Horn (Washington),” he said.
