Holy Innocents G Devin Hutcherson Strong Summer Performance Leads To Double-Digit Offers

Hutcherson has had an impressive summer thus far and continues to garner attention from colleges and experts from around the state. He’s beginning to see a steady stream of offers rolling in as colleges continue to be impressed with the 6’4 guard.

Hutcherson went from an offer to double-digit in a short amount of time, thanks to an impressive summer circuit with Game Elite, one of the best AAU programs. He has a notable poster against a defender where he absorbed the contact and still finished delivering a slam with the foul. He has always had shooting prowess and stellar defense, but now you see that he has emphasized  other facets of his game that

His offers include Washington, Stetson, Rice, Ole Miss, Georgia State, Auburn, Kennesaw State, Hampton, Georgia Tech, and Charlotte. The most recent offers are from Marshall and Georgia Southern.

At the end of June, Hutcherson had notable performances in the GBCA Southeast Period against some notable teams. He finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, and two steals in a win over Mainland (FL). Another game he starred in was against Wilson (SC), where he finished with a game-high 28 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

For the two GBCA Live Periods, including the Georgia and Southeast circuits, Hutcherson averaged 16.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 64% shooting from the field and 40% from deep. He also shot 78% from the charity stripe during those games.

When you watch him play, Hutcherson is always well poised and under control, being able to get to the basket and use his body to shield off defenders. He is also an improved jump shooter, evidenced by his GBCA live stats, hitting 40% from beyond the arc. In the 2026 class, he is one of the best rebounders you will find in the state with his hustle, timing, and ability to sky over others to come down with boards. He is also a stellar perimeter defender.

This past season for Holy Innocents, he was impressive, averaging 15 points and five rebounds on 59% shooting. Hutcherson was named first-team all-state by AJC, first-team all-region, defensive player of the year for Region 5-2A, and also won a state championship. In the state championship win, Hutcherson finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Hutcherson is currently ranked as a four-star prospect per Rivals with an 87 overall rating.

With more summer events coming up, expect Hutcherson to continue to display his skillset and rack in more offers prior to his senior season kicking off.
